What are Core Products?

Core Products are our most popular building materials - like insulation, blocks, timber, sheet materials, and plasterboard - supplied through our nationwide network of local merchants. They’re chosen because they can all be delivered together from the same supplier.

Why are Core Products different from other products on the site?

Unlike some items that come from specialist suppliers, Core Products can be combined into one basket and sent in a single delivery, helping you save time and delivery costs.

How much does delivery cost for Core Products?

If your Core Products order is over £300 ex. VAT, delivery is free. Orders under £300 ex. VAT have a flat £20 ex. VAT delivery charge.

Can I mix Core and non-Core Products in the same order?

Yes. If there are products in your order that are not in the core range, there might be additional delivery charges, depending on the order value.

How do I know if a product is part of the Core range?

Look for the yellow “Core” label on product pages and listings.

What is the difference between Core and Core+?

Core+ is our subscription service that gives you free delivery on all Core Products no matter the order value, plus exclusive discounts and a dedicated account manager to help you get the best deals and service. You can learn more or sign up on our Core+ page.
