Its fine, even grading produces mortar that is simple to prepare, grips firmly to masonry, and delivers a clean finish. Suitable for bricklaying, pointing, rendering, and blockwork in both internal and external applications.

Installation Guidance

• Mix with appropriate binders: Combine with cement and lime, or use a plasticiser, in standard ratios such as 4:1 or 6:1 to achieve the required structural strength.
• Control water content: Add water gradually during the mixing process to prevent the mortar from becoming too "sloppy," which reduces bond strength and increases mess.
• Prepare surfaces clean: Ensure all bricks or blocks are free from dust and excessive moisture to allow for maximum mortar adhesion.
• Strike joints at the correct time: Wait for the mortar to become "thumb-print" hard before finishing the joints with a pointing tool for the cleanest result.
• Protect from the elements: Cover fresh masonry with hessian or polythene in extreme heat or frost to prevent the mortar from drying too quickly or freezing.
• Handle bulk safely: Use mechanical lifting equipment for the 800kg bag to prevent manual handling risks and ensure safe distribution on site.
