Choosing the right wood sheet

Selecting the correct panel for your project depends on three primary factors: moisture exposure, structural requirements, and the desired finish.

For load-bearing and structural needs: OSB3 and structural plywood offer the rigidity and strength required for roofing, wall sheathing, and sub-floors.
For damp or humid conditions: If your project is outdoors, in a bathroom, or in a kitchen, always opt for moisture-resistant panels such as Marine Plywood, Moisture Resistant (MR) MDF, or P5 Chipboard to prevent swelling.
For furniture and decorative finishes: Standard MDF and Birch Plywood provide the smooth, consistent, and defect-free surfaces necessary for high-quality painting, veneering, and internal cabinetry.
