Celotex GA4080 80mm multi-purpose insulation board helps to keep comfortability levels high whilst keeping energy bills low. Celotex GA4080 boards are manufactured from tough polyisocyanurate (PIR) using a perfect mix of certain blowing agents which acquires zero ozone depletion potential (zero ODP) and a low global warming impact (GWP), making this general application insulation board the perfect choice for the eco-conscious. 80mm Celotex GA4080 thermal insulation solution is suitable for floor, wall, and roof applications.

The most popular Celotex PIR general application insulation board in our range is 2400mm long and 1200mm wide. These high-performance 2.4m x 1.2m PIR boards feature low-emissivity foil facings that give improved thermal insulation performance in sealed cavity air spaces, improving the thermal envelope of your home with an impressive thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK. Not only that, but they also offer excellent water vapour resistance and a reasonable compressive strength of 140kPa.

About Celotex

Celotex is a leading British manufacturer of 80mm thickness PIR insulation. Founded in the early 1920s, the company has since evolved from a fibreboard insulation company to one that solely focuses on PIR insulation boards. The GA4080 insulation board is just one of many popular thermal insulation solutions in the Celotex product range. It comes from the GA4000 product group, which includes 6 other thicknesses; 50mm (GA4050), 60mm (GA4060), 70mm(GA4070), 75mm(GA4075), 90mm (GA4090) and 100mm (GA4100).

80mm Celotex GA4080 Insulation Storage & Handling

As they are super light and portable, 80mm Celotex GA4080 boards can also be handled and transported easily; making them a doddle to install. If you need to store 80mm Celotex insulation boards for a while before installation, you should choose a cool, dry space.

Our rule of thumb when it comes to storage is that the boards should not be stored on the ground. Instead, pop them on a level surface and under a protective cover, just for good measure.
