70mm Celotex GA4070 PIR Insulation can bring a whole host of benefits to your wallet and sustainability efforts.
Manufactured using a blowing agent that has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and low global warming potential (GWP), these insulation boards are the perfect choice for the eco-conscious individual.
As a general application ('GA') insulation board, 70mm Celotex thermal insulation solution is suitable for floor, wall, and roof applications.
These high-performance 2.4m x 1.2m PIR boards feature low-emissivity foil facings that give improved thermal insulation performance in sealed cavity air spaces, improving the thermal envelope of your home with an impressive thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK.
Not only that, but they also offer excellent water vapour resistance and a reasonable compressive strength of 140kPa.
The GA4070 insulation board is just one of many popular thermal insulation solutions in the Celotex product range. It comes from the GA4000 product group, which includes 6 other thicknesses; 50mm (GA4050), 60mm (GA4060), 75mm (GA4075), 80mm (GA4080), 90mm (GA4090) and 100mm (GA4100).
70mm Celotex GA4070 PIR Insulation Board Applications
This BBA certified multi-purpose insulation board is suitable for roof, floor, and wall applications.
Equipped with an innovative low emissivity foil facing and manufactured from rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR), the boards are easy to cut and shape for application in pitched roofs, solid masonry walls, partition walls, timber frames, and steel-framed systems, specifically timber frame internal linings, solid masonry internal linings and between timber joists.
It can also be used as floor insulation in solid floor systems such as screed and concrete slab floors, and as loft insulation between timber rafters.
70mm Celotex GA4070 is suitable for the following applications:
