Lower energy bills and reduce heat loss with Celotex GA4060 60mm PIR Insulation; a general application thermal insulation solution suitable for floor, wall, and roof applications. 60mm Celotex insulation boards are manufactured using a blowing agent that has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and low global warming potential (GWP) making them an eco-friendly insulating choice.
These high-performance 2.4m x 1.2m PIR boards feature low-emissivity foil facings that give improved thermal insulation performance in sealed cavity air spaces, improving the thermal envelope of your home. Among its other product features are excellent water vapour resistance and reasonable compressive strength.

As a general application ('GA') insulation board, this BBA certified PIR insulation board is suitable for roof, floor, and wall applications. Equipped with an innovative low emissivity foil facing and manufactured from rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR), the boards are easy to cut and shape for application in pitched roofs, solid masonry walls, partition walls, timber frames, and steel-framed systems, specifically timber frame internal linings, solid masonry internal linings and between timber joists. It can also be used as floor insulation in solid floor systems such as screed and concrete slab floors, and as loft insulation between timber rafters.
Celotex GA4060 is suitable for the following applications:
60mm Celotex insulation multi-purpose insulation board comprises a fibre-free rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core faced with an aluminium foil composite on both sides and comes in dimensions of 2.4m x 1.2m. This high-performance thermal insulation solution can help achieve energy use and carbon dioxide emissions targets set by national building regulations. No matter which part of the building structure you are looking to insulate, you can depend on Celotex's general application insulation board. GA4060 insulation board can improve the thermal envelope of your home better than almost any other material on the market; PIR is second only to phenolic insulation in terms of thermal conductivity.
Let's have a look at the specs:
BS EN is British and European Standard Specifications. With over 100 years of experience, the British Standards Institute is recognised as the UK’s National standards body.
Celotex is a leading British manufacturer of 60mm thickness PIR insulation materials. Founded in the early 1920s, the company has since evolved from a fibreboard insulation company to one that solely focuses on PIR insulation boards. The GA4060 insulation board is just one of many popular thermal insulation solutions in the Celotex product range. It comes from the GA4000 product group, which includes 6 other thicknesses; 50mm (GA4050), 70mm (GA4070), 75mm (GA4075), 80mm (GA4080), 90mm (GA4090) and 100mm (GA4100).
As they are super light and portable, 60mm Celotex boards can also be handled and transported easily; making them a doddle to install. If you need to store 60mm Celotex insulation boards for a while before installation, you should choose a cool, dry space.
Our rule of thumb when it comes to storage is that the boards should not be stored on the ground. Instead, pop them on a level surface and under a protective cover, just for good measure.
