We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.

What Is Unilin Xtratherm 125mm?
Xtratherm Thin-R 125mm is a foil-faced rigid PIR insulation board designed for use in a wide range of construction projects. With a low thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK, it delivers excellent heat retention and energy efficiency.
The aluminium facings act as a vapour control layer, helping to prevent condensation and protect building fabric. Suitable for pitched roofs, solid floors, and timber or steel-framed walls.
The board is lightweight, easy to cut, and offers a good balance between performance, handling, and durability.
125mm Xtratherm PIR Insulation Board Applications
Xtratherm Thin-R Rigid Insulation Board is a versatile solution suitable for use in roofs, walls, floors, and both timber and steel-framed systems. The 100mm boards are easy to cut and can be installed between studwork, laid beneath a screed floor, or fitted between rafters in pitched roofs.
When used correctly, Xtratherm Thin-R XT helps reduce heat loss and improves thermal bridging performance. Installing insulation both above and between roof timbers helps maintain the structure at a temperature closer to the internal environment, reducing the risk of thermal stress and condensation.
Xtratherm PIR Insulation Board Storage & Handling
The polythene wrapping in which the boards are supplied is not considered adequate protection for outside exposure. Care should be taken to protect the insulation in storage and during the build process. We advise that you store the boards indoors on a level surface and under a protective cover.
The insulation boards can be readily cut using a sharp knife or fine-toothed saw.
