What Is 50mm Celotex GA4050?

Keep the desired temperature in your house all year round with 50mm Celotex GA4050 PIR Insulation; a general application board suitable for floor, wall, and roof applications. 

50mm Celotex boards are manufactured using a blowing agent that has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and low global warming potential (GWP) making it an eco and green-friendly insulation solution. 

These high-performance 2.4m x 1.2m PIR boards are BBA certified and feature low-emissivity foil facings that give improved thermal insulation performance in sealed cavity air spaces, improving the thermal envelope of your home.

Among its other product features are excellent water vapour resistance and reasonable compressive strength.

It comes from the GA4000 product group, which includes 6 other thicknesses; 60mm (GA4060), 70mm (GA4070), 75mm (GA4075), 80mm (GA4080), 90mm (GA4090) and 100mm (GA4100).


Where Is 50mm Celotex GA4050 PIR Used? 

As a general application ('GA') insulation board, this BBA certified PIR insulation board is suitable for roof, floor, and wall applications.

This includes pitched roofs, flat roofs, solid masonry walls, partition wall, timber frames, and steel-framed systems, specifically timber frame internal linings, solid masonry internal linings and between timber joists. 

It can also be used as floor insulation in solid floor systems such as screed and concrete slab floors, and as loft insulation between timber rafters.

Celotex GA4050 is suitable for the following applications:
