6x2 Timber 7.2m (commonly referred to as 150mm x 50mm timber) is a premium, pressure-treated timber product designed for a broad spectrum of structural and construction applications. Graded as C24, this timber is specifically engineered to meet the strength and performance standards required for load-bearing roles in flooring, roofing, timber framing, and various general joinery applications.
To ensure exceptional durability and resistance to environmental factors, this timber is both kiln-dried and treated with advanced preservatives. With a nominal size of 47mmx150mm, 6x2 timber has a finished size of 45mmx145mm. This difference is so negligible, however, that it is commonly referred to as 47x150, or 6 x 2.
