Product Overview

Grano Dust with a 0mm to 4mm particle size and supplied in a loose load. This fine, crushed granite aggregate, often referred to as granite dust, is specifically engineered to provide a high-strength, durable bedding layer and finishing material for heavy-duty paving. The material is characterised by its sharp, angular grit which provides superior interlocking properties compared to standard sands, ensuring a stable surface that resists shifting under pressure.

It is primarily used as a final laying course for artificial grass, block paving, and concrete screeding where a firm, free-draining base is required. The fine grading allows for precision leveling while maintaining the structural integrity necessary for pedestrian and vehicular traffic areas. This product is supplied as a bulk loose load in a 1 tonne weight.

• Layer distribution: Spread the material evenly across the target area to a typical depth of 20mm to 40mm for bedding applications.
• Levelling and Screeding: Use a straight edge or screed rail to achieve a perfectly flat surface, accounting for a slight fall for drainage.
• Compaction: Apply force using a mechanical vibrating plate compactor to consolidate the dust into a firm, non-shifting layer.
• Final Inspection: Verify the surface is free of dips or protrusions before laying the final paving or artificial turf.
