What Is 12.5mm Knauf Tapered Edge Wallboard Plasterboard?

Get professional results every time with 12.5mm Knauf Wallboard Tapered Edge Plasterboard 1800mm x 900mm (6 x 3 ft).

These 12.5mm Tapered Edge Plasterboards, also known as "baby boards", are small in size and measure 1800mm x 900mm x 12.5mm. At 12.5 mm thick - or 1/2 inch - these boards are the most popular thickness in the Knauf Plasterboard range.

Knauf gypsum plasterboard is a no-fuss drylining solution that meets industry requirements whilst offering a range of decoration options.

Once the boards are installed, you can go about decorating immediately - no hanging about here, these boards were designed for direct application and decoration.

Each board showcases an ivory paper face and a tapered edge that is ideal for jointing or skimming, creating a flush and even finish.

Where Is 12.5mm Knauf TE Wallboard Plasterboard Used?

Plasterboard, often referred to as drywall, is purposed to provide a much quicker alternative to traditional lath and plaster applications. 12.5mm Knauf TE Wallboard lives up to this purpose by cutting out all the faff of messy application and drying times, meaning you can get to the fun part of painting right away.

It is a cost-effective solution for many standard partition performance requirements, specifically purposed for installation in partition walls and ceilings.

The boards can be easily fixed to the wall or insulation using the "dot and dab" method or they can be mechanically fixed to timber and metal partitions.

12.5mm Knauf TE Wallboard is suitable for the following applications:

  • Partitions
  • Linings
  • Ceilings
