Where standard plasterboard would decay, Knauf 15mm Tapered Edge Moisture Resistant Plasterboard triumphs. This impressive plasterboard absorbs less than 5% of water, making it perfect for use in moist and humid conditions. 

With a silicone-infused core and a moisture-resistant paper facing on either side, these 15mm boards are ideal for areas of high humidity, such as kitchens and bathrooms. The boards can also be used in can be used in partitions, ceilings and in semi-exposed areas.

Knauf Moisture Panel can be easily spotted via its green paper water repellent liners. Measuring 2400mm x 1200mm (8 x 4 in ft), they are also high on aesthetics - you can simply paint or wallpaper directly onto them. What's more, they boast a handy tapered edge, which is suitable for both jointing and skimming.

This gypsum plasterboard solution contains special moisture-resistant additives in its core and a special green lining paper on either side (for easy recognition) that gives it enhanced performance in areas of high humidity and high moisture, such as a bathroom or kitchen construction.

Whilst it's not immediately obvious, Knauf Moisture Panel does, in fact, offer great fire protection and acoustic insulation where necessary. Featuring a handy tapered edge, these boards are also a lot easier to fit than standard square edge plasterboard.

15mm Moisture Resistant Plasterboard Cutting

The boards can be cut with a fine-toothed plasterboard saw, or you can simply score the front face paper with a knife before snapping it over a straight edge, repeating the process on the back face paper.
