What Is Ecotherm 25mm?
Increase comfort whilst saving money and energy with 25mm EcoTherm insulation boards. These 25mm fibre-free rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) boards are manufactured with a blowing agent that results in zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and low global warming potential (GWP).
The lightweight boards consist of a foam insulation core faced with layers of aluminium foil composite on either side, giving them a lambda value of just 0.022 W/mK.
Extremely versatile, EcoTherm 25mm insulation boards can be used in a variety of applications, including floors, walls, ceilings and pitched roofs, and are suitable for use in both new builds and refurbishment projects.
Where Is 25mm EcoTherm Used?
EcoTherm’s Eco-Versal range is comprised of a fibre-free rigid polyisocyanurate core with composite aluminium foil facings on both sides.
With a thermal conductivity of just 0.022 W/mK, Eco-Versal is one of the best insulation boards on the market in terms of thermal performance. This universal solution is perfect for insulating pitched roofs, floors, walls, dormer cheeks and ceilings.
Eco-Versal is equipped with a few simple properties that make it an excellent choice for a range of insulation needs: it has a closed-cell structure, is extremely lightweight, and is also extremely rigid.
Making it perfect for the following construction types:
- Floors
- Solid walls
- Pitched roofs
- Dormer cheek
- Cold flat roofs
- Ceilings
- Timber frame walls
- Room-in-the-roof applications
25mm EcoTherm Eco-Versal Benefits
Improve the thermal envelope of existing building elements in your home whilst providing a cost-effective means of reducing CO2 emissions with 25mm EcoTherm Eco-Versal.
The low emissivity surface of the reflective foil facing can cut radiant heat transfer across an adjoining air-space, offering excellent thermal performance for minimum wall thickness whilst maximising the internal space within your home.
When correctly installed, Eco-Versal has an indefinite life; its durability depends on the background/supporting structure and conditions of its use.
Let's have a look at the specs;
- Rigid boards are easy to cut and fit between studs
- Lightweight design will not weigh down the structure
- Resists attack from alkalis, dilute acids, mineral oil and petrol
- Meets Building Regulations/Standards with minimal thickness
- Low Global Warming Potential (GWP) and Zero Ozone Depleting Potential (ODP)
- The fibre-free insulation core and facings resist attack by mould and microbial growth
- Minimises the risk of interstitial condensation - allows traditional forms of construction without modern problems of condensation
- High water vapour resistance

How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.
Customer Reviews
This insulation has excellent thermal performance. The sides have an aluminium foil composite which makes a big difference. Wasn't aware of this brand of insulation rigid boards at first, but the Ciara provided a data sheet and I knew this product was equivalent to Celotex. Thanks Materials Market
great insulation rigid boards went in so easily between the rafters the lightweight boards were easy to get up into the loft
