Why Vapour Plasterboard?

Knauf Vapour Panel is not recommended for areas of high humidity, as prolonged exposure to moisture may compromise its performance and integrity. For high-humidity environments, use moisture-resistant alternatives like Knauf Moisture Panel.
Why 12.5mm?
- 12.5mm plasterboard is the standard thickness for most construction projects, offering a balanced combination of strength, durability, and ease of installation for general wall and ceiling applications.
- It provides better structural integrity and sound insulation than the lighter 9.5mm board, while being less bulky than the thicker 15mm option. However, unless specified as a performance board, it should not be relied upon as a standalone solution for soundproofing.
Why Square Edge?
- Square edge plasterboard features a clean, straight edge, making it ideal for areas where joints will be concealed with joint compound, tape, trims, or moldings.
- Commonly used in non-structural applications such as internal wall linings and ceilings, it is well-suited for spaces where additional finishing is planned.
