15mm Gyproc Moisture Resistant Board Tapered Edge Plasterboard really puts the dry in drywall. These impressive 2400mm x 1200mm boards feature silicone additives along with water repellent liners, making them the perfect drylining companion in intermittent moisture applications such as kitchens, bathroom walls and ceilings.
They are also suitable for use in external soffits that are in sheltered positions.

Gyproc Moisture Resistant consists of an aerated gypsum core, with its water resistance coming from the water-repellent additives encased in its core and paper liners. Purposed to reduce the risk of water damage in moist and humid conditions, these boards are perfect for dry lining internal walls and ceilings.

It is possible to skim Gyproc plasterboard as long as a bonding agent is used before beginning the process. Some people in the building industry believe that it is possible and easier just to skim directly onto the moisture-resistant plasterboard, so it is a matter of personal choice how you accomplish the task.
It is also possible to apply paint directly to the surface of MR plasterboard and the water repellent liners but it must first be prepared with a plaster bonding agent in order for the paint to adhere to the surface. This is in accordance with the British Gypsum guidelines.
