GTEC Fire Board plasterboard provides superior fire resistance for stud partitions, wall lining and ceiling systems, achieving up to 30 minutes of fire resistance from a 12.5mm single layer partition system and 60 minutes of fire resistance from a 15mm single layer partition system.
In compliance with BS1230 Type 5 and BS EN 520 Types D and F, these lightweight boards are heavyweights at reducing flame spread.
Coloured pink on the front and grey on the back, the boards also boast a handy tapered edge, meaning they are suitable for both jointing and skimming.
Ideal for fire-rated partitions in residential and commercial projects including for wall lining, ceiling systems, and partitions, GTEC Fire Board is a quick and simple way to ensure that your abode is protected in the event of a fire.
12.5mm Siniat GTEC Fire Board Tapered Edge Plasterboard Applications
GTEC Fire Board outperforms standard plasterboard by a mile; offering superior fire performance, the boards are not only stronger and harder but they also provide improved sound insulation and impact resistance in GTEC Drywall Systems.
On top of that, the boards do a wonderful job of drylining whilst meeting relevant national building regulations. We recommend using GTEC Fire Board where improved fire resistance is required.

12.5mm Siniat GTEC Fire Board Jointing & Finishing
GTEC Fire Board can be jointed and finished with GTEC Jointing systems. Prior to decorating, GTEC Fire Board should be primed with GTEC Universal Sealer and is suitable for gypsum plasters (manufactured to BS EN13279-1:2008).
