How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

Product Overview
GL2 short leg galvanised steel liner brackets for use within Gypliner wall lining systems.
These brackets secure GL1 liner studs directly to masonry substrates, creating a reliable fixing point that maintains the stability of the vertical stud framework. By anchoring studs to the existing wall surface, they ensure accurate positioning and system rigidity.
Their short leg profile allows for close fixing against the substrate, minimising projection into the room and making them suitable for standard wall build-ups and areas where space efficiency is required.
Constructed from galvanised steel, the brackets deliver strength, corrosion resistance, and dimensional accuracy, supporting consistent performance throughout the service life of the lining system.
When combined with GL1 liner studs, GL8 track, and associated channels, the GL2 bracket forms an integral element of the Gypliner system, enabling stable, non-loadbearing wall linings to be constructed.
Supplied in boxed quantities of 100 for efficiency on site, with consistent manufacture ensuring precise fit and repeatable installation results.
Features & Benefits
- Defined fixing role: Provides secure attachment of GL1 liner studs to masonry substrates in wall lining systems.
- Short leg design: Enables close fixing to the wall surface without unnecessary projection, maximising usable floor space.
- Galvanised steel construction: Durable, corrosion-resistant, and dimensionally stable for long-term performance.
- System integration: Works with GL1 studs, GL8 track, and associated channels to complete Gypliner assemblies.
- Gypliner compatibility: Provides the essential mechanical link between stud framework and masonry substrate to maintain system performance.
- Cavity creation: Maintains a controlled spacing between plasterboard lining and wall surface for insulation, acoustic upgrades, or concealed services.
- Performance contribution: As part of the Gypliner system, supports fire, acoustic, and thermal performance values tested to meet regulatory requirements.
Applications
- Gypliner wall linings: Key fixing component within the Gypliner system, enabling the creation of independent, non-loadbearing wall linings.
- Service integration: Facilitates installation of mechanical and electrical services within the lining cavity.
- Performance upgrades: Supports lining systems that improve acoustic insulation, thermal efficiency, and fire resistance.
- Refurbishment suitability: Ideal where direct bonding is not possible due to poor substrates, moisture issues, or service requirements.
Installation Guidance
- Preparation: Ensure masonry substrate is clean, sound, and capable of accepting fixings.
- Bracket positioning: Fix brackets at required centres in line with stud spacing to ensure accurate alignment.
- Stud fixing: Insert GL1 liner studs into brackets and secure firmly to create the vertical framework.
- System integration: Use in combination with compatible channels and plasterboard to complete the wall lining system.
- Handling care: Avoid distortion of brackets during fixing to maintain accuracy and structural integrity.
Compliance & Performance
- Material specification: Manufactured from galvanised steel for strength and corrosion resistance.
- System compatibility: Designed specifically for use with GL1 liner studs and drylining components.
- Structural performance: Provides reliable fixing points for stable wall lining frameworks.
- Important note: Intended for use only within non-loadbearing drylining systems.
