75mm Kingspan Kooltherm K110 Soffit Board is a premium performance insulation board for installation in structural ceilings. Frequently used in commercial applications, such as car parks, it is perfect for both new build and refurbishment projects. The Kooltherm K110 insulation boards are made up of a fibre free rigid thermoset phenolic core, with a glass tissue based facing on one side and low emissivity composite foil on the reverse surface. They have a thermal conductivity of 0.018 W/mK, which is the best on the market. The boards are manufactured with a blowing agent that has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP). These Kingspan K110 soffit boards are FM approved to a Class 1 fire rating under Class Number 4880. They come in 2400mm x 1200mm boards, and are lightweight and rigid. This makes them quick and easy to install, which is important given that they must be fixed in place overhead.

Kingspan K110 soffit boards are available in a range of thicknesses. Our customers can choose from 65mm, 75mm, and 85mm thicknesses. The boards are water vapour resistant, and are manufactured with a blowing agent that has zero ODP and low GWP. They meet certification for ISO 50001: 2011 (Energy Management Systems), BS/I.S. OHSAS 18001: 2007 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems), ISO 14001: 2015 (Environmental Management Systems), and ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality Management Systems)
In certain cases, roofs extend past the boundaries of external walls. The resulting overhang is sometimes referred to as the ‘eaves’. The term ‘soffit’ refers to the underside of the overhang, which is visible from outside.
Soffit boards are a tailor-made solution for people who want excellent thermal protection in their structural ceilings. Kingspan Kooltherm K110 soffit boards are ideal for people who want to go the extra mile to protect the thermal envelope of their homes.
It is not difficult to cut Kingspan Kooltherm K110 soffit boards. When it comes to cutting insulation, safety and preparation are the most important considerations. You should always cut insulation in a clear, open space. We recommend wearing goggles and thick gloves to avoid accidents.
1. Place a ruler on the insulation and cut a shallow line with a utility knife.
2. Use the shallow cut as a reference for your fine-toothed saw.
3. Make a clean, concise cut that breaks through to the other side of the insulation.
One of the most common concerns customers have is how flammable certain materials are. The 75mm Kingspan K110 Soffit Board has been tested within the FM 4880 approval standard, which assesses the fire performance of building panels. K110 reaches Class 1, which means that it has very limited fire spread and fuel contribution in the event of a fire.
