20mm limestone chippings produced from quarried natural limestone.
Crushed and carefully screened to a nominal 20mm size, these chippings have a coarser, angular profile that allows them to compact closely when laid.
This interlocking structure creates a stable surface that is ideal for general concrete mixes, driveways, and functional landscaping applications such as paths and drainage layers.
Unlike premium decorative aggregates, these chippings are not selected for uniformity, but for strength, durability, and versatility.

Material specification: Crushed quarried limestone, angular in form, 20mm nominal size, with natural colour variation in grey, buff, or cream tones.
Performance characteristics: Durable, free-draining aggregate suitable for general concretes, driveways, drainage applications, and functional landscaping.
Plant compatibility: Limestone is alkaline and will raise soil pH. It is unsuitable for use around acid-loving (ericaceous) plants such as rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, and heathers. Best suited to lime-tolerant planting schemes or non-planted areas.

What to expect on delivery day
Deliveries are typically kerbside.
Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
