Product Description

GTEC Standard Board does everything you would expect from a typical gypsum board, meeting normal fire, structural and acoustic level requirements in partitions, linings and ceilings. 

Available in both square or tapered edges in a variety of sizes, these tapered edge boards are suitable to receive gypsum plaster finish and are perfect for taping and jointing to achieve a flush finish. 

Also known as "baby boards", these GTEC standard boards are the smallest available size in the Siniat plasterboard range and measure 1800mm x 900mm x 12.5mm.

GTEC standard plasterboard is your go-to solution for drylining partitions, linings and ceilings where normal fire, structural and acoustic levels are specified. The GTEC boards do a cracking job of drylining internal walls and ceilings within residential and commercial buildings.

GTEC boards are a no-fuss alternative to traditional lath and plaster; once the boards are installed, you can go about decorating immediately - no waiting around for things to dry. The boards are suitable for direct application and decoration and feature an ivory paper face that accepts a wide range of paint and finishing products. They may be drylining focused but the boards offer many benefits.

12.5mm Siniat GTEC Standard Board Tapered Edge Jointing & Finishing

  • GTEC Standard Board is designed to and should be jointed and finished with GTEC Jointing Systems
    Boards are suitable for gypsum finishing plasters which are manufactured to BS EN 13279-1:2008
    Ivory face is purposed for decorating - boards should be primed with GTEC Universal Sealer before decorating

Square Edge & Tapered Edge - What's The Difference?

Tapered edge boards are suitable for taping and jointing to achieve a flush finish or for a single coat gypsum plaster finish.

We recommend using square edge boards for textured finishes or undecorated applications. They are also purposed to receive a gypsum plaster finish.
