Product Overview

Type 4 Wall Ties 225mm for use in cavity walls with widths of 76–100mm, providing secure restraint between masonry leaves while allowing for differential movement.

As a Type 4 tie to BS EN 845-1, these are suitable for dwellings up to 10m high in sheltered environments, typically where basic wind speed is below 27m/s. Their classification ensures they are correctly specified for residential construction in low-exposure conditions.

Each tie features an indented profile to improve mortar bond and provide effective wall stability. 225mm length ensures sufficient embedment in both masonry leaves when bridging cavities up to 100mm wide. This guarantees compliance with structural requirements and prevents bridging or inadequate seating.

Manufactured from stainless steel, they are resistant to corrosion and offer long service life without need for replacement.
