What is Blue Circle Postcrete Cement 20kg?
Blue Circle Cement Postcrete 20kg is a pre-mixed, rapid-setting concrete designed for fast and effortless post-installation. Unlike traditional concrete, there’s no need for pre-mixing - simply pour water into the post hole, add the dry Postcrete, and let it set. The mixture starts to firm up in 5-10 minutes and reaches working strength within 10-15 minutes, making it a quick and reliable choice for securing posts.
Suitable for a variety of applications, Postcrete can be used with wooden, concrete, and metal fence posts, as well as gateposts, rotary washing lines, and other vertical supports. For added convenience, it comes in a durable, weatherproof, tear-resistant plastic bag, simplifying handling and storage on-site.

How to Use Blue Circle Postcrete 20kg
- Prepare the hole - Dig a hole that is three times the width of the post and at least one-third of the post height above ground.
- Add water - Fill the hole with clean water to around one-third of its depth.
- Pour in Postcrete - Add Blue Circle Postcrete directly into the hole, ensuring the dry powder completely covers the water surface. Lightly sprinkle water over the top if needed.
- Position and level the post - Adjust the post as required, ensuring it is straight and in the correct position. The mixture will begin to firm up within 5-10 minutes.
- Secure the post - Once set, cover the hole with soil or turf to complete the installation.
- Fix fence panels - After 10 minutes, the post will be stable enough to attach fence panels or other structures.
Important Installation Notes
- Do not mix Postcrete with water manually or with a machine - it is designed to set in place.
