Available in both square or tapered edges, these tapered edge boards are suitable to receive gypsum plaster finish and are ideal for both jointing and skimming, creating an invisible seam at the point where the edges meet.

Comprising an aerated calcium sulphate core enclosed encased in a tough paper with bound edges (bound by a PVA edge glue), GTEC 9.5mm Tapered Edge Plasterboards measure 2400 x 1200 x 9.5mm and are a no-nonsense alternative to wet plastering, helping you to meet normal fire, structural and acoustic level requirements in partitions, linings and ceilings.

GTEC Standard Board makes light work of drylining partitions, linings and ceilings where normal fire, structural and acoustic levels are specified. GTEC boards make drylining internal walls and ceilings a piece of cake. You do not need to be a professional to do a good job of installing it. So long as you have patience and time on your hands, installing plasterboard is more than doable for beginners and seasoned builders alike.

9.5mm Siniat GTEC Standard Board is the ultimate drylining companion. GTEC gypsum boards are easily applied unlike traditional lath and plaster; once the boards are installed, you can get to the fun part of decorating off the bat - no hanging around. The boards are suitable for direct application and decoration and feature an ivory paper face that accepts a wide range of paint and finishing products. They may be drylining focused but the boards offer many benefits.

• GTEC Standard Board is designed to and should be jointed and finished with GTEC Jointing Systems
• Boards are suitable for gypsum finishing plasters which are manufactured to BS EN 13279-1:2008
• Ivory face is purposed for decorating - boards should be primed with GTEC Universal Sealer before decorating

Square Edge & Tapered Edge - What's The Difference?

Tapered edge boards are suitable for taping and jointing to achieve a flush finish or for a single coat gypsum plaster finish.

We recommend using square edge boards for textured finishes or undecorated applications. They are also purposed to receive a gypsum plaster finish.
