Colour and finish are representative only and may vary slightly as this is a natural product.

Transform any outdoor space with the durable and dependable 22mm x 125mm Green Treated Feather Edge Fence Board - perfect for use in fencing and for cladding sheds and buildings.
When it comes to external use, 22mm x 125mm Green Treated Feather Edge Fence Board is the ideal solution, especially when it comes to constructing a continual line of traditional fencing.

These fence boards are installed vertically onto a framework of posts with each board overlapping its neighbour, forming orderly lengths of fencing wherever it is needed.

22mm x 125mm Timber Sizing Explained

The sizing of 22mm x 125mm timber is considered to be either:

  • Nominal Size: 22mm x 125mm
  • Finished Size: 16mm x 119mm

This slight discrepancy is accounted for by the way the timber is cut and prepared. The difference in the two sizes is minuscule and should not make a meaningful difference to your project. At Materials Market, we sell the finished size.

Green Treated Timber

When you imagine green treated timber, it is natural to envision a bright green hue comparable to that of freshly-mowed grass. However, the term "green wood" actually has nothing to do with its colour; rather than being green in shade, green timber is simply a wooden tone interspersed with subtle hints of green.

The distinctive green tinge seen in green-treated timber is not the intended shade, but rather a natural outcome from pressure treating it - an effective process designed to extend its life expectancy and make it more durable.

The copper-based preservatives used in this method react with oxygen, causing the timber's surface to oxidise and thus become slightly green.
