15mm birch ply sheet is characterised by its rigidity and high-strength design. Featuring a cross-banded layer composition, this structural board boasts a high-quality tight-grain BB face, making it suitable for use in furniture and joinery applications.
The cross-banding construction process sees birch veneers of the same thickness, oriented in alternate directions. The layering of the wood enhances the overall stability of the finished product.

15mm Birch BB/BB Grade Plywood Explained
The quality of bonding is assessed based on the type of adhesive used and the condition of the core veneer, including physical defects like knot holes and splits.
BB/BB grade: Comprising a single-piece front and rear veneer, both surfaces may exhibit an average of 3-6 minor colour-matched patches and occasional faint mineral streaks.
This grade closely resembles the B grade but permits larger knots. Thus, the presence of small, closely spaced pin knots is possible. The inner cores consist of single-piece veneers.
