100mm Knauf Loft Roll 44 Insulation Combi-Cut (13.89m2/Roll) is an advanced thermal insulation roll designed specifically for pitched roofs at ceiling level.

100mm Knauf Insulation Loft Roll 44 comes in partially cut (Combi-Cut) rolls for use with timber joists at 400mm or 600mm centres, or uncut as a full-width roll, helping you maximise on-site efficiency. 

It also offers excellent thermal and fire performance with a thermal conductivity of 0.044 W/mK (numerically implied in its title) and an impressive A1 Euroclass fire rating.

Where Is Knauf Loft Roll 44 100mm Insulation Roll Used? 

Loft Roll 44's primary use is for the thermal insulation of pitched roofs at ceiling level, although it can also be used to thermally insulate floors. These 1140mm wide short-length rolls are supplied partially perforated to produce either 2 rolls 570mm wide or 3 rolls 380mm wide.

When used at ceiling level it is usually laid in two layers, with the first layer between the joists and the second layer over, and at right angles to the joists. A first layer gives sufficient thermal performance, but a second layer will improve the thermal resistance of the buildup even further. 

The rolls are easier to install correctly than other insulants such as rigid boards because they adapt to any slight imperfections in the substrate and knit together, eliminating any air gaps.

100mm Knauf Loft Roll 44 Handling & Storage

The rolls are supplied in polythene packs which are designed for short term protection only. For longer-term protection on site, the product should be stored either indoors, or undercover and off the ground.

Loft Roll 44 should not be left permanently exposed to the elements.
