How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

Product Overview
Glass mineral wool loft insulation roll using ECOSE® Technology and a high recycled content.
Sized for friction fitting between timber and metal studs at 600mm centres, it reduces airborne sound transmission in separating walls, intermediate floors, and internal partitions.
Supplied 1200mm wide and pre-perforated for splitting into 2 × 600mm widths, it enables straightforward installation between standard studs or joists.
With a manufactured density in excess of 10kg/m³, it also provides effective acoustic absorption while contributing to thermal resistance and fire safety. Classified Euroclass A1 non-combustible, it supports compliance in wall and floor systems.
At 100mm thick, it is designed for deep cavity constructions, achieving maximum acoustic performance with additional thermal efficiency.
Features & Benefits
- Glass mineral wool composition: Absorbs airborne sound and reduces reverberation within cavities.
- ECOSE® Technology binder: Formaldehyde-free, plant-based binder for improved handling and indoor air quality.
- Manufactured from recycled glass: Reduces environmental impact and conserves raw materials.
- Flexible quilt form: Adapts to irregular surfaces and friction fits securely between studs.
- Roll format supply: Speeds up installation compared with rigid slabs.
- Pre-perforated into 2 × 600mm widths: Simplifies installation between standard joist and stud centres.
- Density ≥10kg/m³: Provides robust acoustic performance.
- Euroclass A1 fire rating: Fully non-combustible for safe use in walls and floors.
- 100mm thickness: Suitable for deep cavity constructions where maximum acoustic insulation and high thermal performance are required.
Applications
- Separating walls: Provides an absorbent layer to reduce airborne sound between dwellings.
- Internal partitions: Improves privacy and acoustic separation within buildings.
- Timber stud partitions: Reliable friction fit between 600mm centres.
- Metal stud walls and separating floors: Delivers effective acoustic absorption across multi-storey builds.
Installation Guidance
- Cut to length with a sharp knife: Ensures clean fitting and minimises waste.
- Insert without compression: Maintains declared thickness and performance.
- Store and install in dry conditions: Protects product integrity during handling and fitting.
Compliance & Performance
- BS EN 13162 certified: Meets European product standard for mineral wool rolls.
- Euroclass A1 fire rating: Classified non-combustible under EN 13501-1.

Customer Reviews
Knauf is one of the well known major brands and I am very pleased with how quickly this could be installed. The roll format meant the insulation could be easily carried up to the loft.
