Superglass Loft Insulation Roll
(4 Products)Superglass Multi-Roll 44 is a product from the Superglass Loft Insulation range that ensures excellent thermal performance between and over timber joists of new and existing lofts/cold-pitched roofs.
Purposed as thermal insulation for loft spaces, the roll is a cost-effective solution designed to prevent heat from rising and escaping through the roof. When installed correctly, energy bills will be reduced as less cooling or heating is needed to regulate comfortable temperature levels.
All in all, the Multi-Roll 44 is a high-performing, non-combustible insulation solution that contributes to the betterment of environmental worries such as renewability and energy efficiency.
What is Superglass Multi-Roll 44?
Superglass Multi-Roll 44 is a glass mineral wool insulation created by bundling together millions of glass fibre strands which form to create a soft wool.
The composition of Superglass Multi-Roll 44 utilises air and its poor conductivity, performing as a functional thermal insulation barrier. What's more, the likelihood of condensation build-up is reduced due to the breathable nature of mineral wool.
The Multi-Roll is versatile and provides excellent thermal performance. The '44' in its name refers to its thermal conductivity value of 0.044 W/mK and its non-combustible composition makes it safe for use in various applications.
The mineral wool insulation roll is partially perforated at both 2x600 (down the middle) and 3x400 (2 perforations on either side). The perforations assist the flexible roll in multiple applications where different sizes are required to fit in common joist spacings.
Where Can Superglass Multi-Roll 44 Be Used?
Superglass Multi-Roll 44 is primarily used as thermal insulation between or over timber joists of new and existing loft/cold roofs. However, the roll is engineered to be suited for a multitude of applications like suspended timber ground floors.
