Product Overview
45mm SuperFOIL SF19+ Multi-Layer Foil Insulation designed for insulating roofs, walls, and floors where a flexible multi-layer reflective quilt is required.
This lightweight multi-layer foil insulation comprises reflective outer layers and internal thermal wadding to reduce heat transfer across building elements. The quilt conforms easily to irregular surfaces and structural junctions, supporting installation in both new-build and refurbishment projects.
Its reflective foil facings limit radiant heat transfer, while the internal layers provide thermal resistance within the insulation zone.
Supplied in a 15m² roll format offering extended coverage for larger installation areas.
Features & Benefits
- Flexible quilt construction: Adapts to uneven surfaces and complex detailing.
- Multi-layer reflective facings: Reduce radiant heat loss and support improved thermal performance when used with airspaces.
- Lightweight and manageable: Easy to unroll, cut, and position during installation.
- Layered insulation core: Provides a combination of thermal resistance and radiant barrier performance.
- Application suitability: Suitable for roofs, walls, and floors in domestic and light commercial settings.
- Thickness: 45mm quilt thickness suited to typical foil insulation requirements in domestic and light commercial projects.
Applications
- Pitched roofs: Suitable for warm, hybrid, or ventilated roof assemblies.
- Walls: Can be installed within timber or metal stud walls for enhanced thermal performance.
- Loft and ceiling zones: Improves energy efficiency in loft and ceiling constructions.
- Floor systems: May be installed over or between joists where approved by system build-up.
Installation Guidance
- Unrolling: Unroll across rafters, studs, or joists, maintaining a smooth, even surface.
- Cutting: Use scissors or a utility knife for clean, accurate cutting.
- Fixing: Staple to timber framing at recommended intervals; allow overlaps where required.

How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.
