How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

Product Overview
Spring Toggle Plasterboard Fixings with a 3mm thread diameter and 50mm length. Designed for light-duty hanging in hollow walls where standard anchors cannot engage behind the board.
Each fixing consists of a spring-loaded metal toggle and machine screw that expands behind the plasterboard to form a strong, secure hold. This provides a broad bearing surface to spread load and prevent pull-through in thin or weak wall panels.
Commonly used for lightweight shelves, small mirrors, or decorative fittings on cavity walls, the compact 50mm length allows installation in standard wall cavities without over-penetration.
Features & Benefits
- Secure load distribution: Expanding toggle wings spread load over a wide area to prevent plasterboard damage.
- Reliable engagement: Spring-loaded mechanism ensures immediate toggle deployment behind the board.
- Corrosion-resistant finish: Zinc-plated steel components resist rust in interior environments.
- Reusable screw element: Machine screw can be removed and refitted without compromising fixing integrity.
- Compact cavity reach: 3mm thread diameter with 50mm length suited to shallow cavities and standard 12.5 mm plasterboard.
Applications
- Light shelving: For small display or utility shelves in hollow walls.
- Mirrors and frames: Provides secure hold for lightweight mirrors or framed items.
- Electrical fittings: Suitable for mounting low-weight fittings such as cable clips or conduits.
- Decorative brackets: Fixes small ornamental or support brackets where cavity anchorage is required.
Installation Guidance
- Drill pilot hole: Use the correct drill size to allow toggle wings to fold and pass through the wall.
- Insert folded toggle: Compress wings and push through the hole until the spring action opens the toggle behind the board.
- Draw toggle tight: Pull gently on the screw head to seat the toggle firmly against the inner board surface.
- Tighten screw: Fit the item to be fixed and tighten until secure - avoid overtightening.
Compliance & Performance
- Material specification: Zinc-plated steel toggle and screw assembly for strength and corrosion resistance.
- Compliance: Manufactured to relevant BS and EN fastener standards for general construction fixings.
- Important note: Ensure cavity is free of obstructions and do not use for structural or load-bearing applications.
