Green incised UC4 pressure-treated softwood post, measuring 2400mm (8ft) in length with a 100mm x 100mm (4" x 4") section. Incising improves preservative penetration for greater rot resistance, while the square-cut top allows for post caps or finials.
A strong, rigid post size for domestic fencing, it provides dependable support for 1.8m (6ft) panels (with or without gravel board) or 1.5m (5ft) panels with one gravel board. The 4x4 section is a standard choice for use throughout fence lines, including ends, corners, and gates.

What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
