How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

Product Overview
Kingspan Thermaroof TR26 Flat Roof Insulation Board measuring 2400mm x 1200mm with a 70mm thickness. This high-performance rigid thermoset insulation board is specifically designed for flat roofs waterproofed with mechanically fixed single-ply membranes.
Manufactured with a fibre-free insulation core and low emissivity composite foil facings, it achieves excellent thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/m·K, delivering high levels of thermal efficiency.
The board is LPCB approved to LPS 1181 Part 1 and FM approved for Class 1 steel deck roof assemblies, confirming its suitability for demanding roof systems.
Resistant to water vapour transmission and fully compatible with most mechanically fixed single-ply and green roof systems, it provides long-term thermal reliability and structural stability.
Its rigid board format allows straightforward installation and consistent performance across large roof areas, with a 70mm thickness ensuring optimal thermal resistance for warm roof applications.
Features & Benefits
- High thermal efficiency: Achieves a low thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/m·K for excellent insulation performance.
- Durable rigid construction: Rigid thermoset core retains dimensional stability and compressive strength under mechanical fixing.
- Moisture resistance: Closed-cell structure resists the passage of water vapour, protecting the roof system from condensation risk.
- System compatibility: Fully compatible with most mechanically fixed single-ply membranes and green roof systems.
- Lightweight handling: Easy to cut, position, and secure, supporting fast-track installation on site.
- Environmental performance: Manufactured with a blowing agent that has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP).
- Certified quality: LPCB approved to LPS 1181 Part 1 and FM approved for Class 1 steel deck roofs.
- Sustainable sourcing: Certified to BES 6001 ‘Excellent’ for responsible sourcing, with a BRE Green Guide rating of A+.
- Size and format: Supplied as 2400mm x 1200mm boards with a 70mm thickness. Balances insulation performance with moderate build-up height allowances.
Applications
- Flat roof systems: Suitable for use beneath mechanically fixed single-ply waterproofing membranes.
- Warm roof construction: Ideal for roofs requiring continuous insulation over the deck and vapour control layer.
- Green roofs: Compatible with extensive and intensive green roof systems.
- New build and refurbishment: Designed for use in both new and existing flat roof applications.
- Industrial and commercial buildings: Suitable for steel and concrete deck installations requiring robust insulation.
Installation Guidance
- Substrate preparation: Ensure deck is clean, dry, and structurally sound before installation.
- Vapour control layer: Install a separate vapour control layer unless used directly on a sealed metal deck.
- Fixing method: Mechanically fix insulation boards through the vapour control layer or metal deck using approved fasteners.
- Board layout: Lay boards tightly-butted with staggered joints to avoid thermal bridging.
- Falls and drainage: Construct falls within the roof deck or through a Kingspan Thermataper system to ensure adequate drainage.
- Protection and access: Restrict access to light foot traffic only; provide walkway protection where regular maintenance is required.
Compliance & Performance
- Thermal conductivity: 0.022 W/m·K.
- Fire performance: LPCB approved to LPS 1181 Part 1; FM approved for Class 1 steel deck assemblies.
- Environmental rating: BRE Green Guide rating of A+; manufactured under ISO 14001:2015 environmental management.
- Responsible sourcing: BES 6001 ‘Excellent’ certification for sustainable production.
- Quality assurance: Manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 quality and ISO 50001:2011 energy management systems.
- Standards compliance: Meets BS 4841-4 and BS EN ISO 6946 calculation methodologies for thermal performance.
- Important note: Always conduct a U-value and condensation risk analysis before installation; ensure all vapour control and waterproofing layers are correctly specified and installed to maintain full system integrity.
