6x3 feather edge fence panels are conventionally more durable and robust than waney edge or overlap fences. This durability comes as a by-product of the way in which the panels are manufactured.

Not only are these 6x3 feather edge boards tanalised and pressure treated but they also provide extensive protection against fungal decay, insect attacks, and rot.

Our 6x3 feather edge fence panels double up as decorative fence panels thanks to their streamlined aesthetic and clean edges.

6' x 3' Feather Edge Wooden Fence Panel Applications

6x4 feather edge fence panels are perfect for creating privacy in your garden.

6x3 featheredge fence panel is installed vertically onto a framework of posts with each board overlapping its neighbour, forming orderly lengths of fencing wherever it is needed.

Pressure Treated Vs Dip Treated

While dip-treated timber is considerably cheaper than pressure treated timber, it will require regular retreatment and will not stand the test of time quite like pressure-treated timber.

The slightly dearer expense of pressure treatment, therefore, works out to be the most cost-effective option, seeing as it is a one-time quality purchase and doesn't require additional purchases of wood preservatives. It is also less laborious in this sense, as once it is installed it can fend for itself.

Provided it is installed correctly, environmental factors such as strong winds and rain, shouldn't impact its durability and solidity.

We also stock a variety of fencing products, such as gravel boards and fence posts in a variety of sizes, that can ease the process and get you on track when it comes to install.
