How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

Product Overview
Bendy Flexible Plywood Long Grain with a 5mm thickness and 2440mm x 1220mm (8' x 4') sheet size. This fine-grained hardwood plywood is designed for creating curves running along the sheet length.
The long grain orientation allows the panel to bend smoothly end-to-end, ideal for tall vertical forms or longitudinal structures.
Its multi-ply construction and flexible adhesive bond ensure uniform bending performance without surface cracking. The material offers a clean, sanded surface suitable for direct finishing, veneering, or painting.
The 5mm thickness provides excellent adaptability to tight curves while maintaining form stability.
Features & Benefits
- Long grain orientation: Enables bending along the sheet length for vertical or elongated curved forms.
- Lightweight construction: Easy to shape for furniture, columns, or tall interior features.
- Smooth surface: Accepts veneer, paint, and laminate finishes without additional preparation.
- Stable core bonding: Resists splitting or fracture during bending and fixing.
- Versatile use: Suitable for cabinetry, displays, furniture, and architectural features.
- Sheet size and thickness: 2440mm x 1220mm sheet with 5mm thickness allows tight-radius longitudinal bending.
Applications
- Vertical curves: Used for tall columns, arches, or feature walls with continuous grain direction.
- Architectural forms: Suitable for structures following the sheet length curve.
- Furniture construction: Creates curved cabinet sides and upright frames.
- Interior fit-outs: Ideal for partitioning and contour detailing in design projects.
Installation Guidance
- Cutting: Use a fine-tooth blade or sharp knife to minimise surface tear-out.
- Forming: Bend gradually along the grain direction using a controlled former.
- Fixing: Secure in position using clamps or supports until adhesive or framework sets.
- Finishing: Sand lightly and apply finishing coats or veneers for surface protection.
Compliance & Performance
- Material composition: Constructed from multiple thin hardwood veneers bonded with flexible adhesive.
- Bond quality: Manufactured to meet internal use and dry condition standards.
- Performance stability: Retains integrity through repeated bending cycles when handled correctly.
- Important note: Avoid excessive moisture or steam exposure before shaping to prevent adhesive weakening.
