Insulated plasterboard is a great addition to any project. It saves valuable time, energy (both ecologically and physically) and money.
Make light work of insulation projects with 37.5mm EcoTherm Eco-Liner Insulated Plasterboard. Comprising a 25mm rigid paper-faced PIR Insulation Board (with a superb thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK), and a 12.5mm plasterboard, this handy 2-in-1 solution insulates and dry lines walls in one single application. This easy-to-install thermal solution is perfect for use in internal wall applications in both new and existing buildings.
Whilst 37.5mm EcoTherm Eco-Liner boards are usually installed on internal walls using the dot and dab method, 37.5mm Eco-Liner can also be fixed to the underside of pitched roof rafters to provide additional thermal protection in lofts.

EcoTherm Eco-Liner plasterboards are designed to streamline your insulation project. The 2-in-1 nature of the boards merges the thermal benefits of PIR (polyisocyanurate) with the structural benefits of plasterboard drylining.
The boards comprise a fibre-free rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core bonded to 12.5mm tapered edge gypsum plasterboard using proprietary gypsum adhesive.
EcoTherm Eco-Liner Insulated Plasterboard is suitable for internal wall insulation for solid, cavity or timber frame walls in both new build and existing properties. Eco-Liner is suitable for both adhesive dot and dab application or mechanically fixed systems and ideal for refurbishing existing walls to a higher thermal performance.
37.5mm EcoTherm Eco-Liner is ideal for the following applications:
Eco Therm Eco-liner comprises a robust PIR fibre-free insulation core bonded to 12.5mm tapered edge gypsum plasterboard; the ivory face of which enables a flat seamless finish using either skim coat plaster or seamless drywall jointing techniques (in accordance with manufacturer’s guidance).
With an impressively low thermal conductivity value of 0.022 W/mK, you can be sure that EcoTherm will do a marvellous job of upgrading the thermal performance of existing walls. The boards also respond quickly to heating systems whilst providing a cost-effective means of reducing CO2 emissions for compliance with Building Regulations.
Let's check the specs:
The product is in compliance with:
It is essential that you keep your EcoTherm boards off the ground and under a cover on a dry, level surface.
Ensure they are kept in a well-ventilated area and protected from rain, snow and prolonged exposure to sunlight - storing them indoors, where possible.
If the boards do end up getting wet they cannot be used - so be extra careful.
