How delivery works

We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.

Delivery areas

Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.

If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.

What to expect on delivery day

  • Deliveries are typically kerbside.
  • Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
  • Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.

Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery

Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.

Returns

Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

Product Overview

High-density gypsum coreboard, measuring 3000 × 600mm, developed as the core layer for Knauf Shaftwall and other multi-board fire-rated systems.

The square edge design ensures precise, close-fitting joints, maintaining the integrity of complex wall build-ups.

Each sheet covers 1.8m² and weighs 29.52kg, providing a durable and dimensionally stable solution for demanding shaftwall and service riser applications.

Faced with an ivory paper liner, the board is intended for concealed use within layered systems, where its density enhances both fire performance and acoustic separation.

A thermal conductivity of 0.19 W/mK enables its inclusion within system U-value calculations, supporting regulatory compliance.

Features & Benefits

  • High-density gypsum core: Improves fire resistance and acoustic performance.
  • Square edge finish: Allows tight board joints for accurate system build-up.
  • Thermal conductivity 0.19W/mK: Contributes to overall thermal performance of wall systems.
  • Weight 29.52kg per sheet: Ensures stability within multi-layer assemblies while remaining manageable for handling.
  • Ivory paper liner: Provides a consistent surface for concealed installation.
  • Board size 3000mm x 600mm: Suitable for vertical shaftwall use and reduces cutting waste.
  • Thickness 19mm: Ensures durability and performance within shaftwall and fire-rated systems.

Applications

  • Shaftwall systems: Core layer within Knauf Shaftwall assemblies to achieve required fire integrity.
  • Fire-rated partitions: Inner layer between face boards where enhanced fire performance is specified.
  • Service risers & ducts: Core lining delivering robust separation with fire and acoustic benefits.
  • Lift shafts & plant enclosures: Internal core layer for high-performance separating structures.

Installation Guidance

  • Install within tested Knauf systems: Ensures stated fire and acoustic performance is achieved and compliant.
  • Use compatible Knauf components: Fix to the specified studs/channels and fasteners for stability under fire exposure.
  • Handle, cut and fit accurately: Score-and-snap; protect square edges; keep joints tight to maintain system integrity.

Compliance & Performance

  • EN 520 Types A, D, F, H1, I, R: Demonstrates conformity to the gypsum board standard across fire, moisture, density and impact categories.
  • Manufacturer’s reference 81062: Provides traceability to Knauf Drywall specifications and system literature.
