We simply cannot get e-knauf of these 100mm Knauf Earthwool DriTherm 37 Cavity Wall Insulation Slabs. 100mm 37 DriTherm slabs offer excellent thermal performance in masonry cavity external walls and can be used in buildings up to 12m in any exposure zone, as well as multi-story applications up to 25 metres tall. Boasting an impressive A1 non-combustible classification, these slabs inhibit the spread of fire and reduce potential widespread damage to a building.
Manufactured by Knauf Insulation using unique ECOSE technology, Knauf DriTherm 37 100mm cavity insulation slabs are buttery soft (meaning the only itch these slabs will give you is the itch to buy more) and provide superb protection for the lifetime of your build. The "Therm 37" relates to the product's thermal conductivity value of 0.037 W/mK whilst the 'Dri' refers to the slab's water repellent additive, added to maximise its overall thermal performance. Knauf Earthwool DriTherm 37 is conveniently cut at 455mm wide in line with standard wall tie spacings, producing a neatly closed joint with adjacent slabs.

100mm Knauf Dritherm Cavity Slab 37 is typically installed in masonry cavity walls where a full fill insulation solution is required. A masonry cavity wall is made up of two leaves (or skins); an inner leaf and an outer leaf. The "cavity" is simply the gap in between these two walls. They are considered to be an effective thermal insulation solution for buildings up to 12m high and in multi-storey applications up to 25m high.
Knauf DriTherm 37 is a glass mineral wool slab specifically designed for installation in external masonry cavity walls.
The slabs are purposed to be in intimate contact with both leaves of an external wall to prevent air gaps and subsequent heat loss; DriTherm achieves this by fully filling the cavity and knitting together at joints. Despite its marshmallow soft composition, Dritherm boasts a firmness that ensures it stays put, wherever you position it. Let's take a look at the specs:
The 100mm DriTherm 37 Cavity Slab are manufactured in accordance with BS EN 13162, ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems. They have zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and zero Global Warming Potential (GWP) meaning they're perfectly environmentally friendly.
The slabs also carry a British Board of Agrément (BBA) certification, which is a nationally recognised stamp of approval for reliability and quality.
Due to the fact that glass mineral wool is quite lightweight, the packs shouldn't be too much bother to handle and move around. However, when it comes to moving pallets, a forklift should be used to prevent injury. Alternatively, the pallet can be split into packs which can then be moved individually.
Slabs are supplied in polythene shrink wrap for short-term protection. We advise that you store them indoors. As we know that's not always possible, our rule of thumb when it comes to storing outdoors is to keep the slabs above ground. Simply, pop them on a level surface and under a protective cover.
