Xtratherm Thin-R XT/UF is a high-performance floor insulation product. Key characteristics include:

- Manufacturing Standards: Manufactured to EN 13165 standards by Xtratherm.

Xtratherm Thin-R Applications
1. Ground Supported Floors:
- Lay and level the hardcore.
- Sand blind base for a levelled surface.
- Apply a damp proof membrane (DPM) over the base.
- Install the XT/UF across the DPM in staggered joint patterns.
- Apply Xtratherm Perimeter Strips (XT/STR) for robust detailing.
- Overlay with a thin polythene sheet as a separating layer.
- If underfloor heating is needed, lay pipes according to guidelines.
- Complete with a concrete slab or screed as required.
2. Suspended Timber Floors:
- Set up joists ensuring adequate ventilation.
- Cut XT/UF to fit between the joists.
- Mechanically fasten treated timber battens to the joists.
- Insert XT/UF between joists and seal gaps using expanding foam.
- Overlay with floorboards.
