Wood & Metal Reciprocating Saw Blades

(15 Products)

Wood and metal reciprocating saw blades are bi-metal, dual-purpose attachments for reciprocating saws. The blades feature shock-resistant teeth with a TPI (Teeth Per Inch) of 10-14 and cobalt edges for enhanced wear and tear defences for general-purpose cutting, metal cutting, and nail-embedded woods.

What are Wood and Metal Reciprocating Saw Blades?

Wood and metal reciprocating saw blades are serrated-edge attachments for a reciprocating saw blade system that uses a push-and-pull motion, ideal for cutting wood and tough metal quickly and cleanly.

These blades are engineered for general-purpose cutting, nail-embedded wood, composites, plastic, cast aluminium and non-ferrous metals.

The metal saw blades have a TPI (Teeth Per Inch) of 10-14 suiting them for different density materials as lower TPI offers faster cuts ideal for wood, and higher TPI delivers slower cuts essential for metal.

The wood and metal saw blades possess shock-resistant teeth and a cobalt edge giving them a more rigid body compared to counterparts such as carbon or high-speed saw blades.

The reciprocating saw blades' bi-metal composition reduces the risk of breakage and tooth loss, minimising the need for frequent blade replacements.

The wood and metal reciprocating blades arrive in cards of 5 and are compatible with power tool machines that have a 1/2" shank.

Where are Wood and Metal Reciprocating Saw Blades Used?

Wood and metal reciprocating saw blades cut:

  • Wood
  • Non-ferrous Metals (Copper, Lead, Nickel, Tin, Titanium, Zinc, Brass, and Bronze)
  • Plastic
  • Composites
  • Cast Aluminium

Wood and Metal Reciprocating Saw Blades Benefits

  • Reinforced Build: The bi-metal blades, shock-resistant teeth, and cobalt edges minimise breakage.
  • Efficient Cutting: Push-and-pull motion ensures material penetration and smoother cuts.
  • Dual-Power Performance: The saw blades are engineered for the resilience and flexibility of wood/metal cutting.
  • Easy Compatibility: The blades can be applied to machines with a 1/2" Shank.
