How Our Delivery Works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. As a result, items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you'll see multiple delivery charges at checkout. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery Areas & Charges
Delivery charges listed on our website apply to mainland UK, excluding the following postcode areas: AB, CF, DD, DG, KW, IV, LA, LD, LL, NP, PH, SA, SY
If your delivery address falls within one of these postcode areas, we’ll be in touch before processing your order to confirm any additional delivery costs.
Please note: We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.

What is Rugby Premium Cement?
Rugby Premium is a high-performance Portland-limestone cement, formulated to meet the needs of both professional builders and DIY users. Developed for use in concrete, mortar, render, and screeds, it offers a well-balanced combination of strength, durability, and workability.
Manufactured using Portland cement clinker, selected limestone, and carefully blended additives, Rugby Premium features a lighter grey colour, making it particularly suited to applications where appearance and finish are key considerations. Its formulation enhances cohesion, improves workability, and reduces the need for additional admixtures in mortar mixes.
This cement meets the stringent BS EN 197-1 conformity criteria, ensuring consistent quality, performance, and strength. It also provides enhanced resistance to freeze-thaw cycles, making hardened concrete and mortar more durable in challenging conditions. Rugby Premium is Chromium (VI) compliant, further supporting safer handling and application. Its balanced composition makes it a cost-effective choice for construction projects that require structural integrity and a high-quality finish.

- Ideal for brickwork and mortar applications.
- Suitable for use in concrete, render, and screed projects.

Tips For Making Concrete With Rugby Premium Cement
- Use sharp (concreting) sand and 20mm maximum size coarse aggregate.
- Add only the minimum amount of water necessary for placement and compaction.
- Excess mixing water can reduce strength and durability.
- Prefer separate sand and coarse aggregate over all-in aggregate (ballast) for optimal results.
Packaging & Storage
- Packaging: Supplied in 25kg plastic sacks.
- Storage: Store bags unopened in cool, dry, weatherproof conditions, raised off the floor (e.g., on a pallet). Avoid contact with damp surfaces.
- Shelf Life: Use within the date printed on the bag. Cement quality degrades over time, especially if exposed to moisture. Reseal opened bags tightly and use promptly.
