How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

What is Mannok General Purpose Cement?
Mannok General Purpose Cement is a Portland-limestone cement, distinguished by its incorporation of limestone, which enhances its workability and environmental sustainability without compromising on strength.
This cement is classified as CEM II /A-L 32,5R, aligning with the BS EN 197-1:2011 standards. This classification signifies its high performance and suitability for a wide array of construction applications. Its properties allow it to be effectively used in mortar, concrete, plaster, and screed.
Applications
- Mortar: Ideal for bricklaying and block laying.
- Concrete: Perfect for creating durable concrete structures.
- Plaster: Suitable for plastering walls and ceilings.
- Screed: Excellent for creating smooth, level floors.
Benefits
- High Quality: Known for its consistent and reliable performance.
- Versatile: Suitable for various building applications, from concrete to screed.
- Certified Compliance: Manufactured in accordance with BS EN 197-1:2011 standards and compliant with European Directive 2003/53/EC.
- Safety: Contains less than 2ppm soluble Chromium VI, ensuring safer handling and use.
- Packaging Options: Available in both paper bags and weatherproof plastic packaging, providing protection against the elements and ensuring product integrity on-site or in storage.
Standards and Certification
- Compliance: Fully complies with the requirements of BS EN 197-1: "Cement - Part 1: Composition, specifications and conformity criteria for common cements".
- Strength Class: 42,5N.
- Marking: Bears both CE marking (according to Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011) and UKCA marking (according to Construction Products Regulation 2011 as amended by The Construction Products (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 & 2020).
Composition
- Main Constituents: Portland cement clinker (k) and Limestone (L/LL). As a CEM II/A-L cement, the limestone content is between 6% and 20%.
- Other Components: Contains calcium sulfate (added to control setting) and may include minor additional constituents.
Mixing
- Use clean water (potable quality recommended - water that is free from harmful contaminants, such as bacteria, chemicals, and other impurities).
- Use the minimum water required to achieve desired workability; excess water reduces strength and durability.
- Mix thoroughly using appropriate equipment (e.g., mechanical mixer) to ensure uniformity.
Placing & Compaction
- Place and compact concrete, mortar, etc., according to good practice and relevant standards to remove trapped air and ensure full density.
