How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

Product Overview
Nylon Hammer Fixings with a 5mm shank diameter and 30mm length. Designed for rapid and reliable fixing into masonry, concrete, or blockwork.
The fixing combines a high-strength nylon plug with a zinc-plated drive nail, allowing for fast installation without the need for screw tightening.
5 x 30mm variant suits light-duty applications, providing secure hold for lightweight battens, conduit, trunking, and profiles. Ideal for repetitive fixing work where speed and efficiency are essential.
Features & Benefits
- Material composition: Nylon plug paired with zinc-plated carbon steel nail for strength and corrosion resistance.
- Design: One-piece hammer-in fixing for fast and simple installation.
- Performance: Expanding nylon sleeve provides consistent grip in solid materials.
- Ease of use: Installed by hammering directly through the fixture without pre-assembly.
- Durability: Resistant to moisture, ageing, and temperature variation for reliable service.
- Load suitability: Appropriate for light-duty fixing applications.
Applications
- Timber battens: Securing lightweight battens to masonry or concrete.
- Cable trunking and conduit: Fixing electrical trunking, clips, or plastic conduit.
- Profiles and channels: Attaching light sections or edge trims to solid substrates.
- Interior fittings: Suitable for internal fixings where minimal load is applied.
Installation Guidance
- Drill hole preparation: Drill a 5mm diameter hole to the required depth using a masonry or SDS drill bit.
- Clean borehole: Remove dust and debris to allow full plug expansion.
- Insert fixing: Position the fixture and insert the hammer fixing through it into the hole.
- Hammer in: Drive the nail until the head seats flush, expanding the plug in the process.
- Avoid overdriving: Excessive force may deform the plug and reduce holding power.
Compliance & Performance
- Material specification: Nylon PA6 plug with zinc-plated carbon steel drive nail.
- Corrosion resistance: Suitable for indoor and sheltered outdoor environments.
- Thermal stability: Maintains performance from -20°C to +80°C.
- Important note: Always confirm substrate suitability and correct drill size prior to installation.
