Product Overview

4 x 15mm Multipurpose Countersunk Pozi Screws designed for hinges, brackets, and tight spaces.

Manufactured from hardened steel with a corrosion-resistant coating, they provide reliable performance across timber, plastics, and composite surfaces.

Their countersunk head allows a flush finish, ideal for carpentry, framing, and flush-finish installs, while the Pozi-drive recess ensures positive engagement, reducing cam-out during installation.

A fine-thread design enhances grip in thinner materials, maintaining a secure and durable hold.

Features & Benefits

  • Material composition: Hardened steel for strength and wear resistance.
  • Drive type: Pozi recess for controlled torque and reduced bit slippage.
  • Head design: Countersunk profile allows for a flush, neat surface finish.
  • Thread form: Fine-thread design suitable for thin materials and precision fixing.
  • Corrosion resistance: Zinc-plated coating guards against rust in indoor environments.
  • Nominal size: 4 x 15mm.
  • Box quantity: Supplied in a box of 200 for efficient trade use and reduced restocking.

Applications

  • Hinge fixing: Suitable for door hinges and bracket attachments.
  • Tight-space fitting: Effective in shallow or confined assemblies.
  • General joinery: Ideal for fine carpentry and finishing work.

Installation Guidance

  • Pilot holes: Pre-drill pilot holes in dense materials to avoid splitting.
  • Bit selection: Use a matching Pozi bit for secure drive engagement.
  • Driving torque: Apply steady pressure and moderate speed to prevent head damage.
  • Finishing: Ensure the head sits level with the surface for best appearance.

Compliance & Performance

  • Manufacture standard: Produced to EN 14592 mechanical fastener standards.
  • Mechanical strength: Hardened and tempered for consistent shear performance.
  • Surface finish: Electro-zinc plated for enhanced protection in dry service conditions.
  • Safety guidance: Wear eye protection when driving screws.
  • Important note: Not suitable for structural or outdoor applications.

How delivery works

We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.

Delivery areas

Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.

If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.

What to expect on delivery day

  • Deliveries are typically kerbside.
  • Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
  • Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.

Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery

Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.

Returns

Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.
