How delivery works

We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.

Delivery areas

Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.

If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.

What to expect on delivery day

  • Deliveries are typically kerbside.
  • Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
  • Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.

Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery

Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.

Returns

Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

Product Overview

30mm Masonry Nails manufactured from hardened steel for direct fixing into solid substrates including brickwork, blockwork, and concrete.

Precision engineered for strength and durability, these medium-length nails provide secure fastening without pre-drilling in most dense materials.

The hardened shank resists bending under hammer impact, maintaining alignment and holding power in dense masonry.

A bright steel finish provides corrosion resistance and a clean, professional appearance, suitable for both domestic and trade environments. Consistent manufacturing ensures reliable drive and uniform head formation for flush seating.

30mm length is suited to light-duty applications including fixing trunking, light fittings, or thin panel attachments where a slightly deeper hold is required.

Features & Benefits

  • Hardened steel construction: Ensures maximum strength and resistance to deformation under impact.
  • Direct fixing capability: Drives securely into masonry, brick, and concrete without the need for pre-drilling.
  • Corrosion-resistant finish: Bright steel surface resists rust and maintains clean visual finish.
  • Precision shank and head: Maintains straight drive with firm seating for flush or slightly recessed fixing.
  • Reliable performance: Consistent hardness and geometry for dependable holding in solid materials.
  • 30mm length: Ideal for trunking, light fittings, or thin panel fixings.

Applications

  • Light fittings: Secure wall or ceiling-mounted fixtures.
  • Cable trunking: Attach electrical trunking to block or concrete.
  • Thin panels: Fix small timber or composite sheets to masonry.

Installation Guidance

  • Surface preparation: Ensure substrate is clean and free from dust or loose debris.
  • Positioning: Mark fixing points accurately to avoid edge cracking.
  • Driving: Hammer nail directly into masonry using steady, firm blows.
  • Inspection: Confirm full seating and that the head is flush or slightly recessed.

Compliance & Performance

  • Material specification: Hardened carbon steel with bright finish.
  • Performance characteristics: High shear and pull-out resistance suitable for dense masonry.
  • Compliance: Manufactured to general hardware performance standards for masonry fixings.
  • Important note: Always wear eye protection when driving hardened nails into solid surfaces.
