How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

What Are M5 x 30 Chipboard Screws (200/Pack)?
M5 x 30 Chipboard Screws (200/Pack) are bright zinc-plated fixings specifically designed for chipboard and other engineered wood-based materials. Engineered for interior use, these screws deliver reliable holding power without causing splitting - making them a trusted choice for fixing in furniture manufacturing, joinery, and general woodwork.
The bright zinc-plated finish offers moderate corrosion resistance and represents a more economical alternative to stainless steel. While not suitable for outdoor or high-humidity environments, zinc-plated screws provide more than adequate protection for the vast majority of indoor applications. For users working within budget constraints, they strike a smart balance between performance and cost.
Each screw is fitted with a hex head, allowing for superior torque transmission and easier driving with power tools. The hexagonal profile provides a firm, slip-free connection with the driver bit, significantly reducing the risk of cam-out or head deformation under load. This makes them particularly effective for repetitive fixings or applications requiring high torque, where consistency and installation speed are key.
M5 x 30 Meaning
- M stands for metric thread.
- 5 refers to the screw’s diameter - in this case, 5 millimetres.
- 30 indicates the length of the screw shaft - here, 30 millimetres from the underside of the head to the tip.

- Bright Zinc-Plated Finish: Offers a layer of corrosion resistance, ideal for long-term use in dry, indoor environments.
- Strong Fixing Power: Coarse threads provide excellent holding strength in chipboard and softwoods, minimising the risk of pull-out.
- Interior Use: Specifically suited for indoor applications where moisture exposure is limited.
- Bulk Pack: Supplied in a cost-effective 200-pack, ideal for trade users or larger DIY projects.
