How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

Product Overview
Everbuild D4 Wood Glue in a 1L size is a waterproof, industrial-grade adhesive formulated for strong, durable bonding of timber components.
It is a water-based, high-performance wood glue designed for both interior and exterior use, offering the strength and reliability required for professional woodworking, joinery, and furniture assembly.
Using advanced hybrid resin technology, the glue produces a clear, temperature-resistant bond suitable for applications subject to moisture and environmental exposure.
Its D4 classification ensures full waterproof performance, providing long-term stability in both indoor and outdoor conditions. The 1L container provides an ideal volume for medium to large woodworking projects demanding consistent, professional-grade adhesion.
Features & Benefits
- High Bond Strength: Delivers a structural bond often stronger than the wood itself, ensuring permanent adhesion under mechanical or environmental stress.
- Waterproof Performance: Conforms to D4 water resistance standards for complete waterproofing, suitable for timber joints exposed to constant moisture or water immersion.
- Advanced Resin Technology: Formulated with hybrid resins to combine superior adhesion with high durability and reduced creep in load-bearing applications.
- Non-Toxic Composition: Free from isocyanates, providing a safer, water-based formula that is easy to clean and environmentally responsible.
- Temperature and Impact Resistance: Retains bond strength in temperatures up to 50°C and under mechanical shock, maintaining integrity in demanding environments.
- Low Timber Staining: Dries clear and minimises staining, preserving the aesthetic quality of visible timber surfaces.
- Rapid Strength Development: Achieves strong initial tack and fast cure times, allowing accelerated assembly and handling.
- Size – 1L Volume: Suitable for medium to large-scale woodworking, joinery, and furniture manufacturing tasks requiring extended coverage.
Applications
- Woodworking and Joinery: Used for high-strength bonding of furniture, frames, doors, and cabinetry.
- General Assembly Work: Ideal for production-line bonding, laminating, and structural timber fabrication.
- Exterior Timber Construction: Suitable for garden furniture, decking, and outdoor joinery where waterproofing is essential.
- Interior Carpentry: Provides clean, clear bonding for decorative and load-bearing internal assemblies.
- Water-Exposed Projects: Recommended for environments subject to moisture or direct water contact.
Installation Guidance
- Surface Preparation: Ensure timber surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or loose particles before application.
- Application Method: Apply evenly to one surface using a brush, spreader, or roller for uniform coverage.
- Clamping Procedure: Assemble and clamp components firmly until bond sets; curing times vary depending on temperature and humidity.
- Cleaning: Remove excess adhesive with a damp cloth while wet; cured material should be scraped or sanded away.
- Curing Time: Allow sufficient drying before mechanical load or finishing; full bond strength develops after complete cure.
Compliance & Performance
- Adhesive Type: Water-based hybrid resin wood adhesive meeting EN 204 D4 classification for waterproof performance.
- Temperature Resistance: Withstands continuous exposure up to 50°C without bond degradation.
- Environmental Safety: Non-toxic, solvent-free, and compliant with modern health and environmental standards.
- Bond Strength: Exceeds standard timber cohesive strength under both dry and wet conditions.
- Important Note: Store in a cool, dry location and protect from freezing; use gloves and eye protection during prolonged handling.
