Product Overview
Flat Roof Decking Plywood Insulation Panel with a 96mm thickness and 2400mm x 1200mm sheet size. This composite insulation deck combines a rigid PIR (polyisocyanurate) insulation core bonded to a 6mm plywood facing, creating a durable, thermally efficient substrate for flat roof construction.
The PIR core delivers low thermal conductivity for effective heat retention, while the plywood top layer provides a stable, load-bearing surface for direct membrane application. Designed for warm roof systems, it offers rapid installation and long-term dimensional stability.
The 96mm thickness provides improved insulation for projects requiring enhanced U-value reduction while maintaining a low-profile warm roof build-up.
Features & Benefits
- Composite construction: Rigid PIR insulation core bonded to structural-grade plywood.
- Thermal efficiency: Low-conductivity PIR delivers reliable insulation for warm roof build-ups.
- Load-bearing surface: 6mm plywood face provides strength for mechanical fixing or membrane bonding.
- Moisture resistance: Closed-cell insulation core resists water absorption and maintains integrity.
- Fast installation: Factory-laminated board simplifies fitting and reduces roof build-up time.
- 96mm thickness: Provides strong thermal resistance for refurbishments and new builds.
Applications
- Flat roofing systems: Used as a thermal deck beneath single-ply, bituminous, or liquid-applied membranes.
- Warm roof construction: Provides continuous insulation above structural decks.
- Timber or steel structures: Compatible with both substrates for commercial or domestic projects.
- Energy-efficient roofing: Contributes to reduced heat loss and improved building performance.
Installation Guidance
- Preparation: Ensure roof deck is clean, dry, and structurally sound before installation.
- Fixing: Secure mechanically using approved insulation fasteners through the plywood face.
- Joint treatment: Stagger board joints; tape or seal where required by membrane specification.
- Finishing: Apply waterproof membrane directly to the plywood face in accordance with manufacturer guidance.
Compliance & Performance
- Thermal conductivity: PIR core rated at 0.022 W/mK.
- Fire performance: Plywood facing classified to relevant Euroclass standards; system performance dependent on full roof build-up.
- Dimensional stability: Maintains rigidity and integrity under load and temperature changes.
- Environmental compliance: CFC- and HCFC-free with zero ODP and low GWP.
- Important note: Ensure fixing pattern and membrane system comply with manufacturer installation and fire certification requirements.

How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.
