Product Overview
94mm Metal Deep Track in a 3000mm length, manufactured from galvanised steel for strength, corrosion resistance, and dimensional accuracy.
The extended leg profile provides significantly greater stud retention compared to standard tracks, locking 92mm studs firmly in place. This additional grip reduces the risk of stud twist or movement, creating a stable wall framework in tall, acoustic or multi-board partitions.
Deep Track is particularly suited to performance-driven partitions, where insulation, multiple board layers, and service loads place greater demands on the frame.
Its enhanced stability improves both system reliability and ease of installation, giving installers greater confidence and reducing the likelihood of remedial work.
The 94mm width is designed for use with 92mm Metal C Studs, while the 3000mm length provides continuous coverage with minimal joints.
Features & Benefits
- Galvanised protection: Zinc coating resists corrosion during storage, installation, and service life.
- Extended leg profile: Provides stronger stud retention than standard track.
- Mechanical performance: Reduces stud rattle and movement, improving wall stability.
- System reliability: Delivers stability in tall, acoustic, or fire-rated partitions.
- Base and head fixing: Provides secure base and head tracks for stud frames, maintaining alignment from floor to ceiling.
- Best-practice choice: Reliable option for high-traffic commercial and institutional environments.
- 94mm track width: Compatible with 92mm Metal C Studs for performance wall systems.
- 3000mm length: Continuous span reduces the number of joints required.
Applications
- Acoustic partitions: Stronger stud retention supports insulation and multi-board layers.
- Fire-rated systems: Provides secure stud fixing in tested fire partitions.
- Tall partitions: Maintains alignment and rigidity in walls above standard height.
- Commercial projects: Favoured in schools, hospitals, and offices where reliability is critical.
Installation Guidance
- Track positioning: Fix securely to floor and ceiling with appropriate fixings.
- Stud location: Slot 92mm C Studs into deep track channels for enhanced grip.
- Cutting: Trim track sections cleanly with aviation snips.
- Jointing: Butt and align track lengths for extended wall runs.
Compliance & Performance
- Material standard: Manufactured from cold-rolled galvanised steel to EN 14195.
- System compatibility: Designed for use with 92mm Metal C Studs.
- Dimensional reliability: Roll-formed process ensures accuracy and consistent sizing.
- Corrosion resistance: Zinc coating provides long-term protection in dry internal environments.

How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.
