Product Overview

Recticel Eurowall+ Full Fill Insulation T&G Board measuring 90mm thick and 1200mm × 460mm in size.

High-performance rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board designed for full-fill masonry cavity wall applications. The board features a tongue and groove joint on all four sides to ensure precise interlocking, minimising thermal bridging and maintaining consistent insulation continuity across the wall cavity.

Each board is faced with a multi-layer gas-diffusion-tight foil, reflective on one side and alkali-resistant on the other, optimising thermal efficiency and long-term durability within the cavity environment. The rigid PIR core delivers excellent thermal performance with a declared conductivity of 0.022 W/mK, achieving strong U-value reductions in modern wall systems.

The 90mm thickness is suitable for standard-depth cavity walls in residential and commercial new-build projects requiring high levels of thermal efficiency.

Features & Benefits

  • High thermal performance: Low thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK for energy-efficient cavity wall insulation.
  • Interlocking edges: Tongue and groove joints on all four sides prevent thermal gaps and improve fit.
  • Durable facing: Gas-diffusion-tight foil facings provide moisture resistance and surface integrity.
  • Lightweight handling: Rigid PIR core allows easy cutting, lifting, and installation.
  • Moisture control: Alkali-resistant facing minimises water ingress and maintains thermal performance.
  • Thickness: 90mm board suitable for full-fill cavity walls in standard construction depths.

Applications

  • Full-fill cavity walls: Specifically designed for masonry cavity wall systems built to current regulatory U-values.
  • Residential buildings: Ideal for domestic housing where full-fill insulation is required.
  • Commercial developments: Suitable for schools, offices, and mixed-use buildings with cavity wall construction.
  • Energy efficiency upgrades: Contributes to reduced heat loss and improved building energy ratings.

Installation Guidance

  • Preparation: Ensure wall cavities are clean, dry, and free from mortar droppings.
  • Board fitting: Insert boards with tongue and groove joints interlocked tightly and staggered in brick bond pattern.
  • Securing: Retain boards with proprietary wall ties and retaining clips in accordance with Recticel guidance.
  • Joint sealing: Ensure all edges are closely fitted to prevent air gaps or cold bridges.
  • Protection: Keep boards dry on-site and covered until installed.

Compliance & Performance

  • Material specification: Rigid PIR insulation with multi-layer foil facings, reflective on one side and alkali-resistant on the other.
  • Thermal conductivity: 0.022 W/mK.
  • Compressive strength: ≥120 kPa at 10% deformation to EN 826.
  • Fire performance: Euroclass F to EN 13501-1; BS 476 Part 7 Class 1.
  • Water vapour resistance: µ value between 50 and 100 (EN ISO 10456).
  • Emissivity: 0.05.
  • Standards compliance: Manufactured to EN 13165:2012 + A2:2016 under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
  • Certification: LABC registered (EWW620) and BBA certified (Certificate 02/3908).
  • Important note: Installation must follow Recticel Eurowall+ guidance to maintain declared thermal and fire performance.

How delivery works

We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.

Delivery areas

Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.

If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.

What to expect on delivery day

  • Deliveries are typically kerbside.
  • Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
  • Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.

Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery

Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.

Returns

Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.
