What Is 9x3 Timber 3.6m?

Here at Materials Market we carry a wide range of treated timber in a variety of sizes and lengths. All of our sawn timber is pressure treated and kiln dried, giving additional protection against bugs and moisture.

These 9x3 timber 3.6m lengths have been planed all round to produce a smooth easi edge that allows for comfortable handling.

Despite a nominal size of 75mm x 225mm, their actual finished size is 72mm x 220mm. As carcassing timber they have a C24 grading, which makes them suitable for structural applications such as flooring joists, roofing, as well as timber frame stud walls and other general joinery applications.

Please Note: The finished size of our carcassing timber may vary slightly from the nominal dimensions. You can expect to receive timber that is finished with a thickness 3mm less and a width 5mm less than the nominal measurements stated. Colour and finish are representative only and may vary slightly as this is a natural product.
